ICCA is pleased to release two new translations of ICCA's Guide to the 1958 New York Convention – in German and Hungarian – which join 23 other language versions of the Guide. The translations are available exclusively to ICCA Members for a one-month preview.

ICCA and the Arbitration Institute of the Stockholm Chamber of Commerce (SCC) have launched ICCA Focus: Sweden, a new initiative collecting all materials published in ICCA’s Yearbook Commercial Arbitration and International Handbook on Commercial Arbitration highlighting Sweden as an important arbitration jurisdiction.

ICCA enjoyed an eventful year in 2020, as we, like so many others, had to adapt to the challenges of the COVID-19 pandemic. Our presence in the international arbitration community continued to grow through digital projects and virtual events, as we both launched new projects and progressed existing initiatives.

ICCA and the Co-editors of the research project “Does a Right to a Physical Hearing Exist in International Arbitration?” Giacomo Rojas Elgueta, James Hosking and Yasmine Lahlou are pleased to announce the upload to the ICCA website of the project’s first four national reports.

The most recent upload of ICCA Yearbook materials in 2020 is now available online. It features 17 court decisions applying the 1958 New York Convention from Argentina, Sweden, Switzerland, the United Kingdom, and the United States, as well as six decisions of US courts applying the 1975 Panama (Inter-American) Convention.
