Guide to the New York Convention Presented to Chief Justice of Panama

January 2015 saw the presentation of the Spanish translation of ICCA’s Guide to the New York Convention to the Chief Justice of Panama, Magistrado José Ayú Prado Canals, by Katherine González Arrocha, Liliana Sanchez and Jorge Federico Lee, in the name of ICCA, ALARB and CAM-CCBC. Thanks to the good offices of ALARB (the Latin American Arbitration Association) and CAM-CCBC (the Arbitration and Mediation Center of the Chamber of Commerce Brazil-Canada), copies of the Spanish-language ICCA Guide have been distributed to judiciaries throughout Latin America in 2014-2015. The Portuguese-language version of the Guide was widely distributed in Brazil in 2012 through two colloquia with judges from Brazil’s superior courts.
