Mr. Ongkiko earned his Bachelor of Arts in Economics from the University of the Philippines in 1984, magna cum laude, and his Bachelor of Laws from the same university in 1988, cum laude and Class Salutatorian. He earned his Masters of Laws from the University of Michigan in 1992.

- Emilia Onyema is Professor of International Commercial Law at SOAS University of London. She is qualified to practice law in Nigeria, as a Solicitor in England & Wales and Fellow of Chartered Institute of Arbitrator. She teaches international commercial arbitration and international investment law; convenes the SOAS Arbitration in Africa conference series; and leads the Arbitration in Africa biennial survey research project.
