- Alastair has been based in Southeast Asia since 1999 and is one of the region's best-known arbitration names, with deep knowledge of the countries of the region.
He handles arbitrations across a wide variety of trade, commercial and financial activities. In addition to high-value commercial and investment disputes, he has particular expertise in major infrastructure and construction projects; oil, gas and power; and shareholder, JV and M&A disputes. - Dr. Gerold Herrmann was President of ICCA from 2002 until 2010. Until his retirement in 2001 he worked for 26 years for UNCITRAL (United Nations Commission on International Trade Law), the last ten years thereof as its Director. His major achievement was the elaboration and promulgation of the UNCITRAL Model Law and the concomitant assistance in establishing or internationalising arbitration centres all over the world. Dr. Herrmann is Honorary Professor of Vienna University, Honorary Vice President of the LCIA Court and former President of the LCIA Court. In 2001 INSOL International presented to him the Scroll of Honour and the International Insolvency Institute honoured him in 2006 with the Outstanding Contributions Award.

- Brenda Horrigan is an internationally recognised arbitration practitioner with some 30 years of extensive global experience, having worked from the US, Paris, Moscow, Shanghai, Sydney and now Singapore. She has her own practice as an independent arbitrator.
Brenda is a past president of the Australian Centre for International Commercial Arbitration (ACICA) and remains a member of its Board. She is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators and has acted as arbitrator and/or counsel under a variety of rules, including SIAC, HKIAC, LCIA, ICC, KCAB International, JCAA, SCC, NZDRC, CIETAC, UNCITRAL and ICSID.

As co-founder of international dispute resolution boutique Chaffetz Lindsey, he leads the firm’s international arbitration team. James’ practice has seen him appear in over one hundred arbitrations as counsel, while he also sits as arbitrator in commercial and investor-state cases. He is an adjunct professor at NYU School of Law, co-author of the leading Commentary on the ICDR International Rules, and a Fellow of the Arbitrators and Mediators Institute of New Zealand.
