ICCA-Tsinghua University Working Group releases Compendium of Chinese Commercial Arbitration Laws
The ICCA-Tsinghua University Working Group on Chinese Arbitral Practice is pleased to announce the launch of a Compendium of Chinese Commercial Arbitration Laws. The Compendium represents a collaboration between ICCA and Tsinghua University School of Law to publish the first complete and bilingual collection of Chinese commercial arbitration laws.
The ICCA-Tsinghua University Working Group was set up in 2015 following a period of fruitful cooperation between Tsinghua University and members of the ICCA Governing Board in the context of the International Arbitration and Dispute Settlement Program offered by the Tsinghua University School of Law.
The Working Group collaborates in a structural liaison with China’s Ministry of Commerce (MOFCOM) and the Supreme People’s Court in order to enhance and further develop arbitral law and practice in China, and aims to increase transparency with regard to Chinese arbitral practice through the publication of Chinese legislation, arbitral practice and case law.
The Compendium is the fifth volume in the ICCA Reports Series. The Series also includes the Young ICCA Guide on Arbitral Secretaries, the ICCA Drafting Sourcebook for Logistical Matters in Procedural Orders, the ASIL-ICCA Task Force Report on Issue Conflicts in Investor-State Arbitration and the ICCA-Queen Mary Task Force Report on Third-Party Funding in International Arbitration.
