ICCA-NYC Bar-CPR Working Group on Cybersecurity releases schedule of public workshops

Over the final four months of 2018, the ICCA-NYC Bar-CPR Working Group on Cybersecurity will be holding a series of public workshops to solicit and discuss the views of interested parties on its Draft Protocol on Cybersecurity in International Arbitration.

In April 2018, the Working Group presented a Draft of the Protocol (available here) to the public for consultation. The Draft Protocol provides a framework for case participants in individual arbitration matters to assess cybersecurity risk and determine what cybersecurity measures may be reasonable in the circumstances of their specific arbitrations. Members of the international arbitration community are invited to share their feedback with the Working Group until 31 December 2018 via submission of written comments and/or by attending the public workshops that will be hosted around the world in the coming months.

A schedule of confirmed public workshops is available below. More details on these events will be made available shortly. The Working Group also intends to host workshops in Asia, Brussels, California, Mexico City, New York, and Washington DC, and to present the Protocol during conferences.
